Hello :-)
My name is Lizzy and I live in the lovely town of Bridport, Dorset. I was lucky enough to spend the first 15 years of my working career as a Geography teacher - a job which was incredibly hard work but which I absolutely loved!
I am also lucky to be a Mum to 2 children - a full time job which I continue to love and is also hard work.
Yet I have learnt that all too often we put pressure on ourselves to be the best, to work harder, to keep busy, to give our all.
It can difficult to step off the treadmill.
I created Tula Therapy to offer a counter-balance.
To provide time, space and permission to take time out.
To step away from the busy-ness.
To have some respite from the continuous bombardment of e-mails, adverts, messages, reels, WhatsApps and all the other 'noise' and pressures modern society throws at us.
To stop. Press pause. And just be.
And in the process allow our whole selves to refill our cup
